Eva has become rather particular about pet names, recently. Dave often calls the girls “beautiful”, “buddy”, or “sweetheart”, and Eva has started following suit. When Amanda is crying, Eva will say (copying Daddy), “Don’t cry, sweetheart, it’s OK. I’m right here. Amanda, you’re breaking my heart!” When she wants Rebel, she’ll yell “Come here, my beautiful buddy!” Now Eva has decided that she and Dave are “buddies”, while Mommy and Amanda are “sweethearts”. If you use the wrong name for the wrong person, she’ll be quick to correct you!
