Portraits

We went to get our annual family portrait last week, down at the mall.  Amanda hates strangers, so she threw a fit and tried to cling to me whenever I wanted to step away for a picture of just the girls together.  Finally I lay on my side under the fabric so I could remain unseen while Amanda leaned warily against me.  If you look closely you can see a prominent bump off to the right – that would be me.  J 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I took the girls with me a week later to pick up the pictures, and let them play on the indoor playground for awhile.  Amanda followed Eva and quickly discovered that the big slide was the best thing in the world.  She’d climb up the stairs, squeal with triumph at the summit, and then turn around (as if she were sliding off the couch) to go down the slide backwards, feet first.  She shrieked with laughter and then ran around for another try, over and over again.  Such a big girl!
