Pins & Needles

We've seen the bid that the contractor gave the seller for all the required work, and it added up to over $13K.  We're waiting to see what their response was going to be.  In the meantime, we dropped by Home Depot to price out cabinets, carpet, etc, and write up a budget.  Those things will be on our tab, and will determine how flexible we can afford to be if the sellers decide they don't want to foot the whole bill for lender required repairs.  I really hope they're going to take responsibility for those items they long neglected to maintain, and bite the bullet so we can move forward.

There's another why reason we're eager for an answer.  Amanda is starting to get too big for the bassinet, and will need to switch to the crib pretty soon.  We haven't set it up yet because it's bulky and cumbersome, and we know we'd end up tearing it back down again in order to move it.  Even though she's already surpassed the amount of time Eva was able to fit in the bassinet (not to mention car seat, swing and bouncy seat), I'm hoping she can hold out for another month, when hopefully we'll be in a new house.
